Stewardship of the natural world is a core value at Gaia and they foster respect for the environment in their community. They believe that offering a “Gaia Garden Program” for students is an excellent, hands-on, fun way to promote that goal. At the same time, the Gaia Garden Program enhances deep learning, increases important  developmental skills, and promotes health and cooperative problem solving. It also impacts the larger community as well, by helping build relationships between neighbors and youth.
