They solicited volunteers to help with funding the garden and maintaining the garden over time. Having a school garden allows many students to see how fresh produce enters into their lives and gives them the sense of accomplishment. There are many ways the garden is being used in the curriculum that can bring their diverse community together with a healthy, life-long activity.[/vc_column_text][apress_button button_text=”Case Study pdf” color_scheme=”color_scheme1″ button_size=”medium” button_swing=”yes” button_google_fonts=”yes” button_text_color=”#ffffff” button_text_color_h=”#ccceb6″ button_shape=”rounded” button_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fjeffersfoundation.org%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F04%2FCase-Study-Cornelia.pdf||target:%20_blank|” button_custom_fonts=”font_family:Roboto%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C500%2C500italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
